Basic CRUD Generator for OroPaltfrom

They would be many features in a software just need CRUD functionality i.e Create Record, View Record, Update Record, Delete Record. It would be great if there is a basic CRUD generator for OroPlatform which includes the following

• CRUD Controller
• Entity
• DataGrid YML
• Form Type
• Translations
• Migrations
• Navigation Menu Item
• Views

To get all this done for a simple entity say “Source Type” which includes just name, description fields takes at least 2 days. Plus I need to invest at least 4 more hours to build a SourceType Form Control to use it with other entities like Leads, Contacts etc.

A basic one-time generator will save a lot of time. Then the individual developer can make the changes to the generated code as per the requirements.

Hi Sachin,

Thank you very much for the suggestion. We totally agree with your reasoning, and have this item on our Platform roadmap.

However, there are more high-priority items that we choose to direct our development resources to. For now, CRUD generator remains in our backlog and there is no specific timeline for its implementation.
