SMS and IM notifications

Products OroPlatform and OroCRM has a function of e-mail notifications.
But we live in 21 century! Now popular another notifications: SMS, phone calls by robot(twilio), android alerts(many services offer this service), internet message notifications(HipChat has API for this), etc.
All this services have good php API.
But integrate this services in OroPlatform very hard now.

I ask to introduce the ability to integrate services notifications!

If you implement this feature, I promise to at least one adapter to put in your store. I think your store quickly filled with a variety of adapters to alert through different services.

Atleast if we can have a configurable button for ‘Send SMS’ which can trigger a URL, it would be great.

Thanks guys, it sounds as a great improvement request:

Communication to contacts/customers can be done in a way “Send Message” so user select which communication channel to use (email, SMS, twitter etc.)
Internal notifications can have multiple channels support

We’ll add this to our roadmap.
