    Hi

    Is there a way to add additional locations into orocommerce? in the UK Counties are a bit of a mess due to changes over the years and i need to allow for some historical counties.

    Please specify, what exactly do you mean by location info and how it’s currently managed?

    Hi

    We would like to extend the list of counties that someone can select during the purchase process so as an example in the UK the correct county name is “West Berkshire” however locally a large number of people still use “Berkshire”

    i am trying to find out how i can extend the county list with some additional options such as Berkshire and if its possible to do via the admin?

    Just a little nudge on this as i am keen to understand if there is a built in solution we can use to add more locations via the admin.

    This list is not managed by the user interface. But you can add new countries with data migration (fixture) that work with Country entities.
    Here is the default migration that loading built-in country list:
