First Order with account generation creates 2 customers and customer users?

Hi there,

if a guest visitor goes through multistep checkout, and aggrees with ‘save my data and create an account’ in the last step, oro creates 2 customers, and 2 customer users.

Is it a normal behaviour in Oro 3.1.9. ?

And, how to remove the 2nd unnessecary customer/customer user (after activation) …?

How to remove non-authenticated vistor (guest) customer/customer user after checkout automatically, if user has confirmed to create an account?

Hi Frank,

This is a known issue, internal ticket id is #BB-16299. Expected result: only one customer user is created.

Fill free to contribute the fix on GitHub or fix it in a custom workflow.

Thank you for your status-update.

And, thank you for the honour of proposing a fix as a solution to the problem. However, I still feel like a beginner and don’t want to bother the experts with my still relatively unstructured approach. Smile.
Of course I will contribute to the community (give something back), when I am ready, respectively I should have a solid solution for the problem.
