    I do the whole procedure to create a configurable product:
    I create the attribute
    I assign it to the family
    I create the simple products
    I create the configurable product

    However when I want to save the system it says: Can’t save product variants. Configurable attribute combinations should be unique.

    Could you tell me why?

    The ORO commerce version is 1.6.22.

    Configurable attribute combinations should be unique.

    This error appears when you have several simple products with the same values for configurable attributes.
    For example, if you have configurable color and size, there should be only one red product with size 42, otherwise, you’ll get above error.
