Set product visibility on a customer or customer group level?

Hello,

We are looking at the ORO Commerce virtual machine demo to see if it is a viable B2B solution for our business model.

Due to commercial decisions we have a situation where we need to be able to set visibility of our offered products on a customer level.

We see we’re able to suppress pricing information for specific customers using the price lists but I’m looking for a way to make products invisible for customer ABC but visible for Customer DEF. Basically none of our customers should be able to see our full product catalog.

Is there a way to link products visibility to specific customers (or customer groups)?

Yes, OroCommerce has an agile product visibility management system. Please, take a look at the documentation of the OroVisibilityBundle:

At the moment, User Guide documentation doesn’t have a detailed description of this features, but it’s planned to be added soon.

Hello Jorrit,

To modify visibility of a product click on the “Manage Visibility” button on the product view page in the backoffice.
Visibility settings of a category can be modified on the category edit page (scroll down to the “Visibility” section of the category edit page).
