    I use a shared hosting at Hostinger, and I understand I cannot install Composer, NodeJS to install normally.

    However, I understand that I can transfer a local instance from my VM to my hosting, and further investigations revealed that,

    detect_unicode cannot be disabled

    memory_limit is limited at 128mb,

    Process Control – Supervisor or alternative > it is also not supported on my plan

    Also, as a side note, which .php file contains the mysql connection information? And where is it typically located at?

    This is the requirement for an application. You should consider switching the hosting then, better to use managed or virtual server, now they usually have nearly similar prices to the hosting.
