permanently delete custom field in entity

Hi, can you please advise how to permanently delete a custom field in entity. A custom Field was created and then deleted due to an incorrect Data Type.But it still appears in the DB and in UI its listed as deleted and can restored. How do we permanently delete that field so a new one with the same name can be created?

Hi Emcopley2,

Out of the box, custom fields are soft deletable.

There are parameterized queries that allow deleting the entity field or a table programmatically,
RemoveFieldQuery and RemoveTableQuery.

Here is the migration with usage example:
