I’ve created a new shipping method (in order to allow for client pick up).

I followed this guide in order to write the code, it works fine on my dev machine but I’m not sure how to get it to production.

I already uploaded all the code to the production server and cleared the prod cache but the new bundle doesn’t seem to be enabled… I believe the problem is the database hasn’t been updated.

I see in the documentation about how to create an installer for a new bundle that I should re-install my application instance in order for it to run the appropriate database migration but when I run the command

    I get this message:

I have already made several customizations to the database (loaded products for instance) so I definitely don’t want to re-create it from scratch…

So… how can I manually run the bundle’s migration?

Ok, so after taking a look at the console commands available I found this one which seems to be what I’ve been looking for:

I ran it and cleared the cache but I only got to see it in the integrations menu after logging out and re-logging in…

Is this the right way to do it?

Looks like an issue was in the menu cache.

Instead of running migrations manually it’s safer to run oro:platform:update --force command.
That will clear all the caches.

If you want to fully reinstall an application – it’s required to remove app/config/parameters.yml file first, or at least change installed flag in it to false and clear the database.

    Great! Thanks!
