    Could you consider OroCRM for use in a B2C ecommerce/retail situation? With this I mean a very large amount of customers, e.g. 500.000+

    Also, are there any plans regarding the detecting/handling duplicate customers?

    Yes, this is the goal.

    We are going to have contacts/accounts merge function in nearest future.
