    Hi,

    Sorry, if this is a too noob kind of question.

    We need to assign leads to users as a part of our workflow, and the leads should show up in the user’s dashboards.

    Other than tasks, is there a way to do this?

    Could some one kindly help me on how to go about doing this?

    You should consider to develop “My Leads” widget.

    Hi Dima,

    Greetings!

    Thanks for the kind response, info and pointer.

    Understand that My Leads widget would show the user’s leads on his dashboard.

    Regarding the assignment part, could you kindly mention whether it’s doable in existing setup of orocrm, without any additional coding? (may be through workflow?)

    Not sure i’m clear on your question. If my understanding is correct, you can use “Owner” field for assigning purposes.

    Can you please clarify your question if i got you wrong.

    You got me right.

    I wanted to know how a lead can be assigned to a user with a default orocrm instance (without any extra coding).

    I was thinking whether this is possible through workflows?

    And related to this requirement of ours, is the need to have address for users. How to enable address for Users?
