    I think I installed OroCRM correctly, but I’m not at all familiar with Symphony so I’m not sure if there is something else I need to do. When I log in, my dashboard only has the Customer and System categories and looks nothing like the screenshot on the homepage so I was wondering if I need to somehow install the additional features or if they just aren’t included in the main distribution at this point?

    Yes, you have installed CRM correctly.

    As Yoav wrote in blog post

    Much of our work since the inception of the OroCRM project has gone into creating The OroPlatform, our Business Application Platform (BAP).
