    Hi,

I need to find out what network connections the Outlook add-in (cal / contact / task sync) establishes for our infosec group.

Is this documented anywhere – or does anyone know specifically what they are?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

here you have documentation how to set up the extension and what you can synchronize:
    https://oroinc.com/orocrm/doc/2.6/admin-guide/integrations/outlook

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately the documentation is insufficient.

    I’m trying to find out:

    • Is the URL of my instance the only destination address that the add-in connects to?
    • What network ports does the instance connect to (eg: 80, 8080, 443, etc)?

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

add-in is using REST API so you shouldn’t need any additional set up/networking configuration.

    Best,

Great – so 80 for http and 443 for https I guess.

    Thanks.
