Channels (Connect to Magento)

i’m following the instructions

but i can not find any menu System -> Channels.
So i cannot connect to magento.
Please tell me what i have to do to be able to add channels

Try add: /channel in your url
Double check if your user has permissions.

Hi behrang,

Please check if your user has sufficient permissions to manage channels. To do so, go to System → User management → Roles, open the role your user has and check the permissions in the Channel line—in order to manage channels you should have Organization or System for every action. (If you are not sure about the roles you have, check them on My User page available from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the screen.)

I am having the same issue.

I checked user roles, but there is no ‘Channel’ line there at all.

Tried going to /channel in URL, but get a 404.

What do we need to install or resolve to be able to add channels?

I am also experiencing this issue. There is no Channel line in the user roles section, and going to /channel in the url led me to a 404.

So, turns out that the Installation instructions are not clear.

The install details the installation of oro-platform.
What you need to do is install oro-crm (which includes oro-platform plus other bundles).

Once we did this, the extra functionality was there. Perhaps the installation instructions need to be improved.
