    Hi guys!

    Is it possible to isolate tags / taxonomies by users? Under user permissions I have set both Tags and Taxonomies to be User for all VIEW, CREATE, EDIT, DELETE options.

    However, when a user adds a tag to any ACCOUNTS or OPPORTUNITIES, that tag is visible to all users.

    Under Field Level Permissions for ACCOUNTS and OPPORTUNITIES, tags are not an option to be configured.

    Can you please advise if you have any thoughts if any out of box solution exists? Thanks again!

    It looks like an architectural issue and a missing feature because tags are unique for all the users.

    When you have the user level permission for tags, all the users should worry about not using the names that already used by someone else.

    For implementing the expected behavior, at least tag names should be unique per user instead of systemwide constraint. But that will allow duplicates for users that have global access.

    So it is not handled out of the box, but it is extensible and you can change the behavior in customization if you need to.
