    Thanks for your reply. It was very helpful.

    Regarding roles, you are right. Re-arranging items cannot work as a person may have several roles. But we can limit the functionality to show/hide menu-items. This way for a person with several roles we can have union of all items s/he has access to. This will only be useful to make user’s menu tidier, for example hiding reports s/he does not need even if s/he has access to.

    We may go on and implement this. If it became something clean and useful we will send a pull request.

    Thanks for your reply.

    For now in case we have several records that we have to share between several users with no specific patter here is whet we do:

    We divide the records into several groups (worse case one record in a group). For each group we create a business unit and a fake user and we set the user’s owner the business unit we just created. Then we set the owner of all records in this specific group this fake user we have created. Now we can give access to this group of records to any particular user by giving them access to this business unit.

    Dividing records into several business units somehow makes sense. But the most painful part is creating the fake users to be set as records owner.

    Do you have any suggestion to make our life easier?

    This can be a choice for the report designer (a simple config check box in report designer / simple config in yaml for custom reports). So the designer can choose the report to be a “late load report” only for specific reports. Other reports can load the same as now)

    Thanks for your reply.
    First, is there a way to set up a default filtering and then change the filter after the report loads?

    Second, the user decides about what kind of analysis s/he might need. For example if the report is on the orders, the user may decide to check a specific customers’ orders on a specific duration or all orders for a specific product for the first 6 months or the third quarter, … Therefore we cannot set a specific filter before loading the report.

    I know this might seem unusual, but how about relating activities to an entity like “Contact Phone”? Is there a way to do that?

    Hi,

    This is really a very important feature. Actually list of calls and tasks without their related entities (contact, account, B2B customer, …) is almost useless. It would be great if you could schedule this to be included in near releases.
